About

We are really lucky here in Cambridge to have such a rich variety of trees, with an estimate of quarter of a million of them, growing in a wide variety of locations, in both public and private spaces around the city.

The city council is responsible for a lot of these trees particularly in our parks and on our streets.  The tree trail project has been commissioned a way to celebrate these trees as well as sharing knowledge about the important role they play in environmental, social and even economic terms.  By taking a smart phone friendly approach, we hope to engage with as wide an audience as possible.

The tree trail was created by Urban Green www.urbangreen-space.co.uk Photography by Still Vision www.stillvision.co.uk
